RESEARCH OF SPHERICAL FIVE-BAR RRRRT TIPE MECHANISM WITH OUTPUT LINK DWELLS. N. Davitashvili. “Problems of Mechanics”. Tbilisi. 2008, N 4(33), pp. 5-12, (Engl.).

In work is given the research of the spherical five-bar linkage mechanism with two degrees of freedom with four in turning pairs and with one sliding  pair (RRRRT). The same mechanism is considered as spherical five-bar mechanism with one degree of freedom, the input link continuous motion if that is transformed in the  discontinuous motion of the output link – the slider. It is revealed, that for one motion cycle of a crank the  spherical five-bar mechanism has two long dwells of the output link. 3 ill. Bibl. 17. Engl.; sum. in Russ.

Optimization of automatic system’s parameters of damping of humus raw matherials. A. Aghasaryan. “Problems of Mechanics”. Tbilisi. 2008, N 4(33), pp. 23-28, (Engl.).

The article deals with the theoretical research descriptions and results of newly developed semiautomatic damping system for humus mass in optimum conditions (75-80 %) with direct way of control. On the basis of the researches, the constructive and exploitation parameters of the system have been defied. The design and operational parameters of the given system are defined. On the basis of mathematical relations of turbo-supercharged diesel power with altitude and thermal exchange processes in the inlet tract of the same diesel with the supercharged air cooler, are established practically important thermo-dynamical features of joint operation of the supercharged air cooler and the turbo-supercharged diesel engine under high altitude conditions according to condition of providing with the constant power irrespective of atmospheric conditions. 4 ill. MODELING OF MECHANICAL STRESSES IN THE SOLIDS WITH USING OF ELECTRICAL CONDUCTING POLIMER COMPOSITES. J. Aneli, M. Bolotashvili. “Problems of Mechanics”. Tbilisi. 2008, N 4(33), pp. 34-38, (Engl.).

 The method of modeling of the static mechanical stresses in the solids and constructions at their deformations by using of electrical conducting polymer composites has been proposed. The method is based on the functional dependence of the specific volumetric electrical resistance of the model materials on the value of deformation. The measures of the local resistances in the solids with definite geometry allow to define the mechanical stresses depending on the coordinates of the elementary volume in the solid. The numerical data of  the local stresses as function of the electrical resistance of separate elementary cubs and coordinates of ones   in the model polymeric material have been obtained. The proposed method may be used for investigation of local stresses in solids also in dynamical regime. 2 ill. Bibl. 6. Engl.; sum. in Russ.

 The results of theoretical research of the operating process of the automobile internal combustion engine with outlet brake having forced power, in which due to elimination of   self-opening of outlet valves outlet pressure increases sharply, are given in the paper. At that, the method elaborated by N. Glagolev and A. Simson is used, which describes gas-dynamical phenomena as a common combination of the interdependent processes occurring simultaneously in the cylinders and outlet receiver. 1 ill. Bibl. 4. In a given work there are considered the problems of analysis and evaluation of leather materials behavior during their deformation, which they undergo with stretching, compression, bending, mechanical and physical influence etc. There is shown that the material’s deformation depends on the made effort, the time of its action and the time, which passed from the moment of relief of the force. In a work there is proposed the methods of analysis of materials’ properties with their different deformations, which are changing their dimensions and shapes. There are presented the practical examples of special devices with the description of their operating principles with the aim of evaluation and definition of their and even of finished goods’ (articles) operating properties finally – the shape stability, wearing quality, endurance, durability and others, with consideration of the  field conditions. 3 ill.
